What is OC3, OC12 connection?

You probably have heard of T1 or T3 services. T1 lines have 24 channels, each capable of 64Kbps(kilobits per second) throughput. And it's transmission speed up to 1.544Mbps(megabits per second) because all 24 channels used together equals 1.5Mbps, equivalent to 12 123Kbps ISDN lines used together. And T3 lines have 672 channels, each capable of 64Kbps throughput. And it's transmission speed up to 44Mbps with all 672 channels used together, equivalent to 336 ISDN lines.

The speed of OC3 connection is 155Mbps, equivalent to 3 T3 lines or 84 T1 lines. And OC12 connection is 622Mbps, equivalent to 14 T3 lines or 414 T1 lines. Amazing? We think so. I think this OC3, OC12 lines are fast enough for you...
